The park's three access points
You can enter via the Vall Fosca (the southern side, closest to Cal Nenot — see our Vall Fosca and Estany Gento cable-car guide), via Espot (east) or via Boí (west). Each access point offers a different landscape and set of routes.
Day routes
With a full day, the route to the Estany de Sant Maurici from Espot is among the most classic and manageable; from Boí there are 4x4 taxi routes that bring visitors closer to the high areas without an excessive hike.

If you go in via Boí, it's worth combining the visit with the group of Romanesque churches in the Vall de Boí, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
