The surroundings
Puigcercós is a small village in the Pallars Jussà, in the Lleida Pyrenees, next to the Sant Antoni reservoir (better known as the Terradets reservoir). Surrounded by mountains and forest, it's a perfect base for hiking, cycling and watersports, with the Montsec range, a Starlight Reserve and one of the darkest skies in Europe, dominating the landscape.
A few minutes by car are Tremp and La Pobla de Segur, with shops, restaurants and the Tren dels Llacs station, a train that runs through the Pyrenees between reservoirs and mountains. A little further out, the Mont-rebei gorge offers one of the most spectacular hiking routes in the Pyrenees, with walkways suspended over the Noguera Ribagorçana river.
